Never Clip Your Channel
A template for your rotational buttons: the macro refuses to fire while Eye Beam or Fel Barrage is channelling, so spamming your filler cannot cut the channel short. Swap Chaos Strike for whichever ability you are binding.

- Type /macro (or press Esc → Macros) to open the macro window.
- Choose "General Macros" to share the macro across all characters, or "<Character> Specific Macros" to keep it on one character.
- Click New, pick an icon — the "?" icon plus #showtooltip makes the button mirror whatever spell it will cast — and name the macro.
- Paste the macro body into the text area, then drag the macro icon onto an action bar.
- Bind the action bar slot to a key as usual; the macro fires on key press.
