Druid macros

Druids are masters of nature, using their affinity with the wild to shapeshift into powerful forms and harness the primal forces of the world.

23 macros

  • /cancelform

Drops whatever form you are in so you can mount, loot or cast immediately. Pressing your form key again also works, but only if you remember which form you are actually in.

  • #showtooltip
/cast [mod:shift] Cat Form; Moonkin Form

Shifts to Moonkin Form normally and Cat Form while Shift is held. Balance Druids still travel and melee in Cat, so one key for both forms keeps your bars clean.

  • #showtooltip Cenarion Ward
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Cenarion Ward

Pre-loads a tank with a heal that fires when they next take damage. Pointing it with the mouse means you can keep it on cooldown without ever leaving your current target.

  • #showtooltip Efflorescence
    /cast [@cursor] Efflorescence

Drops your healing carpet where your mouse is pointing rather than making you click twice. Efflorescence wants to sit under the melee, which is rarely where you are standing.

  • #showtooltip Entangling Roots
    /cast [@focus,harm,nodead][] Entangling Roots

Roots your focus target while you keep attacking something else. Roots break on damage, so casting them on a unit you are not hitting is the entire point.

  • #showtooltip Innervate
    /cast [@focus,help,nodead][help][@player] Innervate

Hands your mana cooldown to your focus target, falling back to your current target. In a raid you set the healer who needs it as focus once and then never think about it again.

  • #showtooltip Ironbark
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Ironbark

Throws your external damage reduction onto whoever needs it without dropping the target you are healing. Ironbark is off the global cooldown, so it costs you nothing to weave in.

  • #showtooltip Lifebloom
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Lifebloom

Keeps Lifebloom rolling on a tank without ever selecting them. Because Lifebloom needs refreshing on a timer, being able to top it up mid-cast on someone else is a real throughput gain.

  • #showtooltip Moonfire
    /cast [@mouseover,harm,nodead][] Moonfire

Applies your damage-over-time effect to a second target without stopping what you are doing to the first. This is how Balance Druids spread dots efficiently on a pull.

  • #showtooltip Nature's Cure
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Nature's Cure

Dispels magic, curse and poison from whoever you are hovering. Dispels are time-critical and almost never needed on the person you are currently healing, which makes this the single best use of a mouseover bind.

  • #showtooltip Rebirth
    /cast [@mouseover,help][] Rebirth

Battle resurrection aimed with the cursor. Hovering the body and pressing one key is dramatically faster than finding a dead player in the raid frames while everyone shouts at you.

  • #showtooltip Regrowth
    /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help][@player] Regrowth

Your emergency direct heal, pointed at whatever you are hovering. Falls back to your target and then to yourself so the button always does something useful.

Every class shares the same macro syntax, so a good idea usually ports across.
