Magic Hammer and Addle

Stacks the two magic damage reductions in one press. They apply separately, so the combined debuff is stronger than either alone.

Where to paste this

  1. Open the main menu → System → User Macros (or type /macro).
  2. Pick a slot, name the macro and choose an icon — /macroicon "Spell Name" makes the button show that action’s cooldown and range.
  3. Write one command per line, using /ac "Action Name" for abilities.
  4. Add <wait.3> at the end of a line to pause three seconds before the next one.
  5. Drag the macro from the User Macros window onto a hotbar slot.

  • Act on Your Focus Target

    <f> points an action at your focus target regardless of what you have selected. Set your co-tank or the enemy you need to watch as focus, and the macro becomes a permanent second target you can act on at will.

    Swiftcasts a raise and then walks every party slot until one lands. Angel Whisper has a long cooldown, so the chat call-out stops a second raiser wasting theirs on the same body.

    Shields whoever your target is attacking, which in practice means the tank. The same pattern works for any co-tank mitigation in the game.

  • Eruption Without the Reticle

    Bypasses the ground-targeting ring and drops Eruption straight onto your target. The same trick works for any reticle spell, including Bomb Toss and 4-tonze Weight.

  • Feather Rain Without the Reticle

    The Feather Rain version of the reticle skip. It shares a cooldown with Eruption, so most Blue Mages keep both macros side by side.

  • Phantom Flurry

    Starts Phantom Flurry, lets the damage over time run its course, and then fires the finisher. The five-second wait is what makes the finisher land reliably.

    Swiftcast into Diamondback for an instant damage wall. Note the wait needs a number — a bare wait tag is silently ignored, which is why so many copied versions of this macro fail.

    An instant dash, which is worth a great deal in the Masked Carnivale and to controller players in general. Again, the wait needs its number to work.
