/assistPicks up whatever your target is attacking. Put it on a quickslot and a fellowship can stay on one mob without anyone calling targets aloud.
/alias add home /travel BreeGives a short name to a command you type often. Afterwards, typing /home runs whatever you attached. Aliases are per-character and save automatically when you log out cleanly.
/shortcut 62 /saluteDrops an emote onto a bar slot. Roleplay kinships build whole bars of these, and it is the most common everyday use of the shortcut command.
/musicSwitches your character into music mode so you can play an instrument. LOTRO has a full ABC notation music system, and this is the first step into it.
/f Pulling now
/raid Stack behind the bossPosts to your fellowship with /f or the whole raid with /raid. Raid leaders live in /raid, and knowing the short forms saves a click on every call.
/lffMarks you as available so fellowship finder searches pick you up. Easy to forget you have left it on.
/followAuto-follows whoever you have selected until you move. Middle-earth is very large and travelling behind someone who knows the route is a real convenience.
/alias listPrints every alias on the current character. The quickest way to work out why a command is doing something unexpected.
/play songname.abcPlays a notated tune from your Music folder. Kinship bands coordinate whole concerts this way, with each player running the same command on a different part.
/playlist songname.abc syncSynchronises playback across a fellowship so a band starts together. Without the sync flag every player starts on their own keypress and the result is chaos.
/k Anyone up for a skirmish?Posts to your kinship. /k is the short form, and it is the channel most LOTRO players actually spend their evenings in.
Every class shares the same macro syntax, so a good idea usually ports across.
